SUNDAYS WE GATHER
Sunday mornings are a time for us to gather as a community. We sing songs of celebration; we reflect on Who God is, and all that He's done and is doing in our lives; we talk about opportunities to serve our city and its people; we celebrate wins: and we learn together.
We're a casual community here at The Genesis Project. The people are an eclectic mix, the music is usually upbeat and driving, the coffee's hot, and there's no dress code - flip flops and shorts are as welcome as a button-down and wingtip shoes! Children ages 0-9 have their own Sunday experience in our GP Kidz Club.
Our goal for any given Sunday morning is that the people who identify as "the church" are encouraged and inspired towards a life oriented around the teachings of Jesus; that people who are invited by friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc...find themselves in an environment that isn't rigid and that speaks to everyday life; and that anyone involved in the experience can easily engage with the message and ministry of The Genesis Project.
Our aim on Sunday mornings is simple: to bridge the gap between culture and Christ.
The church isn't a place; it's a people.
We are located at 2144 First St. in Olde Towne Slidell (next to Tacos and Beer).
